The Shotcrete Pool
The shotcrete pool (sometimes referred to as a sprayed pool) is constructed using steel reinforcing rods tied together to form a cage like structure. When all reinforcing is tied this structure will resemble the skeletal frame of the pool which then has concrete applied under pressure to encase the entire cage with concrete.
The concrete mix is a very stiff mix when applied under pressure and holds in place long enough to allow our builders to form the pool to the required shape. Once the concrete shell has dried and cured the interior finish (Marble, Quartzon or Hydrazzo) can be applied, the pool filtration plant installed and commissioned and the pool filled ready for use.
